Sweet Basil Green Smoothie
Sweet, Herbal, Energizing, Refreshing, and Hydrating, this Green Smoothie is Quick, Easy, & Delicious!
You might think the thought of basil in your smoothie is a little bizzarre, but I decided to throw some into my blender recently and was pleasantly surprised. The sweet, juicy Apples and Oranges in this recipe complement Basil’s complex and distinguishable taste very nicely. I had this for breakfast the last few days and felt so energized and hydrated because of all these potent, living ingredients. Basil is highly anti-inflammatory and anti-viral and contains cinnamanic acid, which enhances circulation, stabilizes, blood sugar, and improves breathing. Enjoy Basil’s taste and healing properties!
Sweet Basil Green Smoothie
- 1 Orange Peeled
- 1 Apple (Seeds Removed)
- 1 Handful Spinach
- 1 Handful Fresh Basil
- 1 Cup Coconut Water
- 5 or 6 Ice Cubes
- Pinch Stevia (optional)
Blend until smooth and enjoy this invigorating smoothie.
